IT IS STILL OUT THERE TRYING TO GET MORE VICTIMS A NEWS 8 VIEWER SENT US THIS LETTER THAT HER MOTHER RECEIVED ITLA CIMS THAT SHE WON THE MEGA MILLIONS SPANISH SWEEPSTAKES AND IS BEING ASKED TO CONTACT THE CLAIM AGENT. IT ASKED YOU TO TRAVEL TO SPAIN TO SIGN DOCUMENTS ANDF I YOU CAN’T DO THAT, YOU HAVE TO PAY A HOME DELIVERY FEE AND AN INSUNCRAE FEE OR YOU COULD GET A WIRE TRANSRFE DIRECTLY INTO YOUR ACCOUNT. TSLO OF RED FLAGS HERE FOLKS. FIRST OF ALL, YOU CAN’T N WIA LOTTERY THAT YOU DIDN’T A TICKET AND ENTER SECOND. YOU NEREV HAVE TO PAY MONEY IN ADVANCE TO GET A PRIZE AND THIRD EVEN THOUGH THERE REALLY IS A MEGA MILLIONS LOGO MEGA MILLIONS HAS PUTUT O A STATEMENT ABOUT SCAMMERS FALSELY USING MEGA MILLIONS NAME. THE LOTTERY SAYS NO REPRESENTATIVE OF MAEG MILLIONS WOULD EVER CALL TEXT OR EMAIL ANYONE ABOUT WINNING A PRIZE. I KWNO PEOPLE GET A LETTER LIKE THIS YOU GET REALLY EXCITED, BUT DON’T FALL FOR IT. It says she won the Mega Millions Spanish sweepstakes and asks her to contact a claim agent. The letter asks the recipient to travel to Spain to sign documents. If that's not possible, the "winner" must pay a home delivery fee and insurance fee, or there could be a wire transfer directly into the person's account.There are red flags here:You can't win a lottery that you didn't enter.You never have to pay in advance to get a prize.Even though there is a Mega Millions logo, Mega Millions has put out a statement about scammers falsely using its name.
