There were two people who lived in the Anderson area who were trying to figure out and find ways to make it in life, charlie Carver worked at *** tissue manufacturing plant. Kayla Brown used to work at *** dialysis clinic and she had *** job cleaning homes and getting homes ready to show charlie was very close to his family. Kayla loved her Pomeranian dog and they had recently moved in together. She described him as *** wonderful person and that she'd hoped to marry him. Kayla Brown and charlie, David Carver were last seen Tuesday august 30th. I was contacted by *** family member. They wanted me to do *** story because they didn't know where charlie and Kayla were *** friend said she got *** text from Kayla early the next morning which read, are you awake? That's the last anyone has heard from either of them. Police say Kayla's phone has had no activity recently. People were trying to spread the word about the fact that both of them were missing. Once things just weren't adding up people, their friends and family really began to worry. His family said that they talked to him every single day, texted all the time and they couldn't get in touch with him. This is just so out of character of him. Weeks passed with no answers as to where the Anderson couple might be.“People were trying to spread the word about the fact that both of them were missing,” said WYFF 4 anchor Nigel Robertson. “Once things just weren't adding up, people, their friends and family really began to worry.”Both Brown and Carver’s families insisted this was out of character for them, while they begged anyone with information to come forward.Then, out of nowhere, suspicious posts began appearing on social media claiming to be from Carver and insisting the pair was fine.“Nobody really knew what was going on,” said former WYFF 4 reporter Mandy Gaither. “But they knew that those posts had not been put there by Kala or Charlie."Even after those chilling posts began popping up, more months would pass before there were any real answers about where they were coming from.“It was one of those stories where — just when you think it wouldn't and couldn't get any worse — it did,” said Robertson.
