Random act of kindness leads to lasting friendship between Hawkeyes linebacker, Omaha family
THANK YOU, ANN. NEW TONIGHT, A CHANCE ENCOUNTER HAS TURNED INTO A FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN AN IOWA FOOTBALL PLAYER AND A SINGLE MOM FROM OMAHA. A YEAR AGO, LINEBACKER ZACH TWEET HELPED REPAIR A FLAT TIRE FOR TINA GUNN. YOU MIGHT REMEMBER THIS STORY. IT HAPPENED JUST NORTH OF STORY CITY. WELL, THIS RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS WENT VIRAL. AND THIS WEEK HE INVITED GUNN AND HER KIDS TO HIS FAMILY’S FARM. IN STORY CITY. HER SON, EVEN WENT FOR A TRACTOR RIDE. TRACTOR RIDES ARE THE BEST. TINA SAYS THIS ONE OF A KIND EXPERIENCE MUST BE AN IOWA THING. LOVE THAT. ISN’T THAT GREAT? I LOVE IT, TOO. YEAH, VERY GOOD. IT’S AWESOME. NOT SURPRISED EITHER
