Lawyers for Adventureland's former owners want a trial over an 11-year-old's death on a ride to be moved out of Polk County.
The attorneys believe their client won't get a fair trial in Polk County. They are also asking a judge to push back the trial that's scheduled for March of 2024.
The family of Michael Jaramillo is suing the former owners of Adventureland for $100 million.
Jaramillo died in 2021, when his raft on the Raging River Ride capsized. The park later closed the ride permanently.
