A notebook that never runs out of paper; that’s what is advertised with the smart reusable notebook from Rocketbook, a product that is so popular, it’s got over 50,000 five-star ratings on Amazon. You may have seen this notebook in a commercial that featured stars of the hit show “The Office,” which makes sense given the show’s focus on a paper company in Scranton, Pennsylvania. If you haven’t seen what this notebook can do, here’s the abbreviated version. Write on a page, scan the QR code at the bottom of the page to save your notes, and after 15 seconds have passed, wipe away what you wrote with a damp cloth. Write. Scan. Reuse. That’s the tagline. The makers of the Rocketbook are able to get this done because of a specialized composite paper that allows any ink from a Pilot Frixion pen to be wiped away with a damp cloth without damaging the paper itself. One reviewer called the product “literal magic,” and another raved about how much of a game changer it is for notetaking in college. If there is a drawback, it would be that the paper isn’t lined, like, say, the Elfinbook, so if you’re someone who enjoys writing between the lines, one reviewer said, “Elfinbook is the clear winner.”In order to get lined paper in a Rocketbook, you would need to purchase the lined paper separately, which right now would cost you under $10 as it's on sale at 40% off. Right now, the Rocketbook smart reusable spiral notebook is on sale on Amazon, seeing up to a 36% discount for their letter-sized notebook and up to a 53% discount for their executive-sized notebook. Rocketbook also has planners, index cards and even a hybrid notebook that acts like a planner. Whether you’re a college student or a fan of handwriting your notes at work, there’s a lot to be had from a notebook that can be used endlessly.
