Iowa defensive lineman comments on involvement in sports gambling investigation
LINEMAN NOAH SHANNON WAS THE FIRST NAME DROP IN THE SPORTS GAMBLING INVESTIGATION. SHANNON’S TEAMMATES CHOSE HIM TO REPRESENT THE HAWKEYES AT BIG TEN MEDIA DAYS, BUT HE OPTED NOT TO, PENDING THE INVESTOR SESSION YESTERDAY AT IOWA MEDIA DAY, HE SAID HE DIDN’T HAVE AN UPDATE ON THE INVESTIGATION, SO I ASKED HIM HOW HE FELT. IT’S BEEN A CHALLENGING BUT ALSO JUST LOVE. THAT CAMP STARTED BECAUSE IT’S A WAY FOR ME JUST TO GET LOST IN MY WORK. SO DEFINITELY BEEN WATCHING A LOT OF FILM WITH THE YOUNG GUYS COACHING THEM UP OUT HERE. SO JUST I JUST LIKE TO DO THAT AND BECAUSE IT HELPS ME NOT THINK ABOUT ALL THE STUFF OFF THE FIELD. SO I DELETED ALL SOCIAL MEDIA AFTER I MADE MY STATEMENT. SO HONESTLY, LIFE’S BEEN A LOT BETTER WITHOUT IT. I ADVISE YOU GUYS TO TRY IT BECAUSE I FEEL GREAT. WELL, SHANNON SAID HE FEELS GREAT PHYSICALLY, TOO. HE’S BEEN REHABBING A SHOULDER INJURY SIN
