Rain and thunderstorms on the radar this morning. How long it will last and if any of these storms could turn severe in your Storm Team 8 forecast.

It’s been a rather nice day for our Sunday. We began with showers across the state and lots of clouds. Humidity is not so bad across Central Iowa and rain has since ended for many of us. So far, not much convection has developed.There is a chance for a stronger storm this evening, but clouds and a few shower/thunderstorms may develop with the passing front. Leftover activity lingers Monday with much cooler temperatures tomorrow. We’re talking low 70s! A cooler and damp day. It will also be breezy throughout tomorrow.Tuesday will feature more sunshine and highs near 80. Next week looks nice! Dry weather with temperatures warming by next weekend.
