The latest Torklift International truck camper tie down fitments for 2017 trucks are coming out now with more being added weekly.
Ford and Dodge applications are the most recently released tie down parts. There are fits available in steel applications as well as light weight military-grade aluminum Talon tie downs. Among other 2017 applications are SuperHitch, StableLoad suspension stabilizers, and HiddenPower auxiliary battery trays. Applications for 2017 Chevrolet, Dodge, Toyota and Nissan are currently underway.
“We aim for the majority of our products to be no-drill to ensure the least amount of alterations to the vehicle frame so it is important that we test each vehicle that we get at our Retail Product Development Center which houses our innovation and engineering teams,” explained Torklift International General Manager Jay Taylor. “So far we have tested all F350s, all F450s, all but one F250 and most F150s. We aim to have the ones we have yet to test in as soon as possible.”
The Torklift tie downs are designed to provide safety, security and stability by attaching to the strongest part of the truck, which is the frame.
“When using these tie downs, there is a dramatic improvement with vehicle handling and stability,” said Taylor. “It’s the safest way to haul a truck camper by preventing movement in all directions which will also eliminate bed damage and torn camper anchor points.”
Torklift is in the process of testing 2017 Chevrolet, Dodge, Nissan and Toyota trucks for tie down fitments. It is the only truck camper tie down that mounts using independent tie down points that bolt directly to the truck frame and is 100 percent no-drill on the Talon aluminum edition.
“By using the Torklift tie down system, customers are maintaining the value of their truck and prevent rust and bed damage by avoiding having to drill into their truck bed or bumper in order to haul a truck camper,” added Taylor.
