Getting Ready for the 2013 Overland Expo

Next weekend we’ll be attending the 2013 Overland Expo in Flagstaff, AZ near Mormon Lake. The Expo is held annually and is attended by people from all around the globe. The Overland Expo (OX for short) consists of classes, exhibits, and workshops for folks who enjoy camping, exploring, and four-wheeling. The exhibits, I hear, are first-rate. I’ve been told that if you enjoy off-road RVs and 4×4 vehicles this is the event for you. This will be our first time attending. We can’t wait.

At the same time we will be attending the RV.NET Truck Camper Rally along with 16 other truck camper owners in our Wolf Creek 850 truck camper. The Expo was thrilled to accommodate our rally and set aside a large area on their grounds for us to park. The TC Rally will be attended by folks from all over the country including a couple from England. I’m told that Angela and Gordon White from Truck Camper Magazine will be there, too. It should be a lot of fun. The weather in mid-May at this altitude should be perfect.

If you’re interested in learning more about this event, I’ve included more information from the official Overland Expo website:
