Four Wheel Campers Partners Up With Truma for Off-Grid Heating

Truma, the leading manufacturer of RV heating and cooling worldwide, just announced that Four Wheel Campers will be offering the Truma VarioHeat and Truma AquaGo as an option in all Four Wheel Camper slide-in and flatbed truck campers.

“Four Wheel Camper customers want to explore and find adventure, and that means being able to go anywhere and do anything. With Truma onboard, they can tackle any outing with confidence,” said Truma VP of Sales and Marketing Tim Williams.

Manufactured in Germany, Truma furnaces and water heaters are well-known for their reliability and performance. The Truma VarioHeat is quieter, offer more precise temperature management, and perform better at higher elevations. The 17-pound VarioHeat offers three modes of operation: Level 1: 4,700 BTU, Level 2: 8,900 BTU, and Level 3: 11,500 BTU, consuming only .65 amps, 2.75 amps, and 5.4 amps respectively.

With the Truma AquaGo, owners will have instant hot water as long as there is water in their tanks—no wasted water waiting for the shower to heat up. And the Truma VarioHeat is a compact furnace option that delivers efficient heating while preserving much-needed storage space. The AquaGo weighs only 34 pounds and consumes less than 2.5 amps between 20,000 and 60,000 BTUs. Each is retrofittable in existing Four Wheel Campers.

Welty added that the Four Wheel Camper 2024 model lineup will include a whole suite of new and improved options, which includes Truma heating and hot water systems among other often-requested features.
