Truck Camper Adventure Launches Improved Truck Camper Forum

You asked for it, you got it: a robust truck camper forum that serves the entire truck camper community. Unlike Truck Camper Adventure’s old WordPress BBPress forum, which had a number of limitations, the new Truck Camper Adventure Forum uses a superb platform called XenForo. This platform is easy to use and intuitive and comes with a number of interactive tools that allows users to customize signatures and avatars. More importantly, the number of words allowed in each post is much larger, thus allowing lengthy posts and responses with links.

The improved Truck Camper Adventure Forum has also been expanded to include 10 categories and 48 subcategories. The truck camper category and been broken down in to subcategories including hard-side, pop-up, flatbed, and chassis-mounted campers as well as non-cabover, truck toppers, DIY campers, and classic campers. The truck category has been broken down into subcategories as well to include the major truck manufacturers including imports and classic trucks. Other categories in the improved forum includes truck beds, truck camper modifications, technology, travel, trip reports, preparedness, appliances, and more. Compared to the old Truck Camper Adventure Forum, the new Forum is simply bigger, faster, and better. We think you’ll agree.

As the community grows, the Truck Camper Adventure Forum will grow with you. We foresee a time when each truck camper manufacturer will have their own subcategory, meaning Lance, Arctic Fox, Host, and Four Wheel Campers will have their own individual forum subcategory.

As a long-time user and fan of the old RV.NET Truck Camper Forum, we want the new Truck Camper Adventure Forum to serve in that capacity. Many today are now using various truck and overlanding forums, and even Facebook to interact, but these communities are fragmented and have their limitations. What the truck camper community really needs is a robust truck camper forum for everyone and we think we have created it. If you have any ideas on how to make the Truck Camper Adventure Forum better, we encourage you to reach out to us and let us know. We will also need volunteer moderators to help run the forum. If you are interested in doing this, please contact the Forum Admin (me).

This is your truck camper forum. Like our annual Quartzsite Rally, we hope it becomes a place where you can share your knowledge, get advice, and make new friends. To this end, we need you to help spread the word. The bigger the community, the better.

The Forum can be found on the main menu on the Truck Camper Adventure website with a drop down menu for both the new and old forum. So what will happen to the old TCA forum? For the time being, it will remain active, but eventually it will be taken down. This will probably happen sometime in 2025.

Note, whether you were using the old forum or not, you will need to create a new user account. All user accounts will need to be manually approved before they become active. Once we do that, you can start using the new forum right away.
