Only seven players are available to talk at Iowa State media day Friday. This comes amid a sports wagering investigation that has sidelined numerous Iowa State and Iowa Athletes.On Thursday, the ISU athletics department said players Easton Dean, Beau Freyler, Jarrod Hufford, Jaylin Noel, Darien Porter, T.J. Tampa and Gerry Vaughn will be available at media day.Among the absent will be quarterback Hunter Dekkers, who is charged with tampering with records after being accused of gambling on 26 Iowa State sporting events, including a 2021 football game against Oklahoma State.Head coach Matt Campbell is also scheduled to speak Friday.
